I had no heat. I was a new customer without a contract and they came out same day to look at my furnace. A competitor wasn’t able to come out until 3 days later so of course I chose Around the Clock. Maryellen, the office manager, was fantastic as well as the service person, Antonio. Mary Ellen was super kind and showed she really cares about the company’s customers. Antonio was very professional as well. He took the time to explain what was going on with my furnace and how he would fix it. I signed up for a contract and will only be using them in the future. There is really no way I can keep this review short. I believe when something is incredible, and you receive excellent customer service, it should be shouted from the rooftop.

What was supposed to be a routine cleaning of my heating unit turned out to be a situation that literally saved my life. The technician showed at 2:15 for my appointment and as soon as he walked in my home he was alarmed. He rushed to the basement and discovered my unit was leaking carbon monoxide into the house and spewing oil dust thru the vents. He immediately shut the unit down and had to call his boss. I was so upset and shocked but one of the owners of Around The Clock, Andy, (after calming my hysteria/you can add therapist to his title) told me exactly what the next steps would be. Within 18 hours he had his crew out to my house, dismantling the old unit (which was the size of a volts wagon), dismantling the oil tank, and installing the new unit. They worked tirelessly the entire day. By the time they left the first day the new unit was blowing hot air. It was a three day job but between John, George, and Chris they finished. I have heat!

Not only was the job pristine but they cleaned up everything leaving it even better than it was before they started! It’s like Santa Clause arrived leaving you with this huge present but there was no sign he was ever there. Remember the old days of true customer service? It has become rare. You are a number. You get a recording. You leave messages. Not with Around The Clock. I heard from Andy and John regularly always keeping me updated and pushing to expedite what was needed.

Everything they told me would happen was done. EVERYTHING. As far as I’m concerned, they went above and beyond the call of duty. I must confess I watched (and you could probably say stalked) from the shadows to see what was going on and not once did I see them slacking or not working hard. They get it done! This shows you just the kind of family business Around The Clock truly is. I come from a time where your word and handshake is your contract and it means something. It warmed my heart to find such a company again. And you can bet I’m ecstatic they will be the ones to come and clean this unit once a year!

Around the clock absolutely stands for high integrity, professionalism, honesty and just plain human kindness. Without hesitation, Andy and John helped me when I felt this was a hopeless situation and made this happen. For that, I am forever grateful.

So, if you are looking for a company where your needs will be met, you expect pristine service and you want someone you can trust wholeheartedly, I can’t recommend them enough. And, hey, if they are really feeling generous you might even get turn down service and a chocolate on your pillow!
